What we publish publicly
- Current public pricing in USD on Pricing
- Accurate platform details: browser-based on phone, tablet, and laptop
- Hardware details we can stand behind today: device-camera barcode scanning, broad printer compatibility, manual cash drawers
- The customer feedback we can point to publicly on Customer stories
What we do not overclaim
- We do not link to App Store or Google Play listings until native apps are actually published
- We do not publish generic placeholder testimonials as if they were customer proof
- We do not list specific compliance certifications or integrations unless we are ready to stand behind them publicly
Platform & compatibility
- Access: Shemify works in the browser on iOS, Android, tablets, and laptops
- Barcode scanning: use your phone or tablet camera — a dedicated scanner is not required
- Receipt printers: in most cases, any printer your device already supports can be used for receipts
- Cash drawers: manual cash drawers only for now
- Integrations: expanding over time; ask us about your exact setup before you buy hardware
Accounts, roles & privacy
- Businesses can separate cashier and manager responsibilities with role-based permissions
- Sensitive actions should stay with trusted roles and clear internal processes
- We publish our Privacy Policy and Terms publicly

If you want to report a security or privacy issue, email hi@shemify.com and include as much detail as you can: the page or feature, device/browser, steps to reproduce, and any screenshots or timestamps that help.

Not yet. Today, Shemify works in the browser on iOS and Android. Native apps are in development.
No. Shemify can use your phone or tablet camera for barcode scanning, so a dedicated scanner is optional rather than required.
Right now, Shemify supports manual cash drawers only.
